Usual Dose: |
24 mcg orally twice a day with food |

Contraindications: |
History of mechanical GI obstruction Hypersensitivity to
ingredients |

Warnings: |
Evaluate patients with signs of GI obstruction before starting drug
Pregnancy must be excluded before starting drug and women must use
effective contraception during treatment
Should not be taken by patients with severe diarrhea
May take with food to reduce nausea
No data exist for use in pediatric patients or patients with
renal or hepatic insufficiency
Nursing mothers should either discontinue breastfeeding or
discontinue the drug |
