Warnings: |
Hepatitis B exacerbations have occurred after stopping drug
Monitor patients for signs of myopathy
Reduce dose in renal insufficiency (CrCl<50 mL/min)
Safety and efficacy not established in liver transplant patients
or children
Nucleoside analogues have been associated with lactic acidosis
and severe hepatomegaly/steatosis
Mothers should not breastfeed during treatment |
